Artist Biography

Hallman Woods is an over 80-year-old potter, who despite years of interest, threw his first pot at age 77. He works on a Korean-style kick wheel and a Leach-style treadle wheel. He is self-taught. His work is limited to traditional-style Japanese pottery. He lives in New Iberia, Louisiana where he has practiced law for over 50 years.
